Pre-stressed Concrete: Concrete in which there have been introduced internal stresses such magnitude of distribution that the stresses resulting from the given external loading are counteracted to a desire degree is known as Pre-stressed Concrete.
There are three (03) concepts of Pre-stressed concrete:
---Pre-stressing to transform concrete into an elastic material.
---Pre-stressing for combination of high strength steel to high strength concrete.
---Pre-stressing to achieve load balancing.
